自動車保険市場の未来

こんばんは。

今日は疲れたので更新をサボろうかと思いましたが・・・

明日は飲み会なので更新は出来なさそうなので、しっかり今日は書きます！

最近、聞いた話がとても現実味があり、「これからどうしよう」と真剣に考えたことがあったのでその話を書きます。

ご承知の通り、日本は超高齢化社会ですね。

それに伴い、損害保険業界は帰路に立たされています。

なぜかというと、損害保険業界は自動車保険が収益のメインとなっており、

車を持たない若年層が増え、高齢者が免許を返納し車を手放す傾向にあるからです。

これだけ聞くとお先真っ暗ですよね。ただ、他の話ですが、経済も結局は労働人口が多い国が潤うそうです。だから、これからはインドですかね？

とにかく、企業も人もグローバル化が急務です。

I was tired today and I thought about skipping update,but...

Tomorrow I have a drinking party planned,so it seems I won't be able to update,therefore I will write properly today!

Recently I heard something very realistic that made me seriously contemplate 'What should I do from now on?'so I will write about it.

Japan is an ultra aging sosiety,as you know.As a result, the insurance industry is facing a challenging situation.

This is because the insurance sector heavily relies on auto insurance as its main source of revenue. With the increase in younger generations not owning cars and older individuals returning their licenses and giving up their vehicles, there has been a decline in the demand for car insurance.

Just hearing this sound pretty bleak,doesn't it?However, on another note, it seems that ultimately, countries with a large labor force thrive economically. So, is it India that will flourish in the future?

Anyway, it's urgent for both companies and individuals to globalize. Let's do our best with English! LOL"

役員の存在意義

まだ水曜日か・・・今週は長いな。。。。

今日から自分が所属する本部の担当役員が私の所属部署に来ています。

全然仲良くない取引先に足を運んで何やってるんだろう、と思いつつ、話すネタを探すのも大変だなぁ、と感心もしています。

自身の担当のクライアントに対し行脚している役員や部支店長へ、担当者は「ありがとうございます」や「よろしくお願いします」と言うのが通例となっています。

しかし、行ってもらうことになんの意味もない・・・よね？

正直、経費の無駄なんじゃないかと思ってしまいます。

Starting today the exective in charge of my division has come to visit my department.

The exective is visiting a business partner with whom we're not really close,I'm wondering what they're doing.It's also quite challenging to find topics to talk about.

I'm quite impressed.

For a representative meeting with their assigned clients, it's customary for the representative to express gratitude or extend well wishes to visiting executives or branch managers.

However, there's no purpose to thier visit...right?

Honesty, I can't help but think it's a waste of expense

午前中お遊戯会&午後不毛な会議１時間半

こんばんは。

今日はなんとも微妙な1日でした。

午前中は息子のお遊戯会。

もちろん、初めてのお遊戯会。

かわいかった〜。我が子だからだと思いますが、一番かわいかった（笑）

ハンディカム？欲しくなったな。

そして午後は事務作業を集中して２時間ほどこなして、会議１時間半。

無駄だったな。何も論議することなく、ただ聞いているだけ。

特定の人しか対象としていない会議なら、出る意味あるのかなと思っちゃうよね。

うちの会社の組織体制上致し方ないのだけど、将来不安になっちゃうよね。

Good evening.

Today was a quite delicate day.

 In the morning was my son's school play,it was his first,of course.

Adorable-maybe he was my child,he was the cutest!

I feel like getting a video.

And in the afternoon,I focused on office tasks for two hours,followed by a meeting that lasted an hour and a half.It felt like a waste.

There wasn't any discussion;we were just listening.

It's just the way our company is structured,but it does make me anxious about the future.

久々になってしまった・・・

更新が滞ってしまいました・・・すみません。

先週は持病の喘息が発症してしまい、省エネモードで生活していました。

やっと、良くなってきました。

持病があるため、体調悪化しないように気をつけていますが、保育園に通う息子が風邪を運んできてしまったら最後です。しょうがない！

最近は英語の勉強を毎日１時間やろうと努力しています。・・

朝はシャドーイング、夜は単語力強化。

リーディングもやらなきゃいけないのは分かっているんだけど、時間が割けない。

バランスが難しいね。

ビジネスマンの方で英語を勉強している人は毎日何時間ぐらい勉強しているのだろう？

そして、内容は？

気になります・・・

It fell behind on update. sorry.

Last week, my chronic asthma flared up,so I have been conserving my energy in my daily life.

But I'm finally startingto feel better.

I have a chronic condition,so I'm careful not to let my health deteriorate.

However If my son,who attends daycare,brings a cold to home,It's game over for me.

I've been trying to dedicate an hour everyday to study English recently.

Shadowing at the morning,strengthening vocabulary at night.

I know I should also do reading,but I can't find the time.It's challanging to find the right balance.

I wonder, how many hours  do  business professionals studying English dedicate daily?

And what kind of content do they focus on?

社内公募の面接対策

こんばんは。

今日は土曜日のため、休み・・・

金曜日の夜が一番テンション上がりますよね。

そんな私も今日は面接対策をしていました。

転職における面接ではなく、社内で手上げの社内特定部署への公募制度があり、24日に１次面接があるのです。

その準備をしていました。

準備といっても、「どんなこと聞かれるかな」と質問を考えたり、その答えを考えるぐらいです。

いわゆる自己PRを考えたりするわけだけども、改めて言語化って難しいですね。

論理的かつ明瞭でないと違和感あるし、やっぱり初めて会う人にアピールするのって難しい。

自分自身のキャリアの棚卸って正解がないから、手応えがないんだよな・・・

さて、もうひと頑張りすっか。

It is day off,because of Saturday.

Friday nights are when the excitement peaks, right?

That's me today, preparing for an interview.

I'm not prepping for a job interview for a new position, but rather for an internal application within a specific department in the company.

The first interview is scheduled for the 24th.

I prepared the interview.

Preparation in this case involves thinking about what questions might be asked and preparing answers for them.

Thinking about self-promotion or self-presentation can be challenging  when it comes to putting it into words.

Seriously,it is difficult to make an appealing impression on someone you're meeting for the first time without being logical and clear.

I feel like there's no right answer when it comes to taking stock of my own career, so it's a bit disheartening.

Let's give it one another,shall we?

非効率さと古臭さ

お疲れ様です。

この業界にいると、現代が昭和かと錯覚することが多いです。

他の業界はどうなんだろう？

自分も他の業界に転職したら、昭和感たっぷりだと思われるのかな…。

「申込書作って」といわれ、作ることが仕事じゃないのに、当たり前かのように振ってくる代理店。（作っても感謝されない・・・）

特殊な保険だったので保険料を試算するのに1時間半ぐらいかかってしまった。

それにもかかわらず…保険料が他社より倍以上高い。

そんなことある？

非効率的な過ごし方をしてしまった。。。

経験がものを言うと思うじゃないですか？もう10年選手です・・・

保険は毎年のように変わるので、経験が物言ってこのレベル。保険業界、まだまだ改善の余地あり？

How are you?

When working in this industry, it's often easy to mistake the present for the Showa era.

I wonder how it is the other industry.

If I change career,I wonder if I would be perceived as having a lot of 'Showa era' sensibilities...

When asked to create an application form, even though it's not part of the job, the agency keeps assigning tasks as if it's a given.

It took about an hour and a half to calculate the insurance form because it was a specialized insurance.

But the insurance premium is too higher than competive.

Moreover it was twice as expensive.

Is that possible?

I ended up being inefficient with my time... You'd think experience counts for something, right? I've been at this for 10 years now...

Insurance changes almost yearly, so despite my experience, it's at this level. Is there still room for improvement in the insurance industry?

初めまして！

今年、ビッグ◯ーター問題で世間を騒がせた損害保険業界に勤めるしがないサラリーマンです…。

そんな私も現職に入社して10年近く経とうとしてます。

入社当時は終身雇用前提の社会人しか想定できておりませんでしたが、今は終身雇用制度の崩壊や大転職時代を迎え、社内政治や人間関係だけで食っていけるようなご時世ではないですね・・・

そんな私も何かスキルを身につけたいと考え、英語を勉強しようと一念発起しました！

日本語で日記を書き、その日本語日記を英訳していこうと思います。

あくまで自己研鑽の一環です・・・

I'm a poor office worker in the non-life insurance industry ,which cauzed a sensation about Bi◯ motor's problem.

It has been ten years since i joined this company.

When i joined the company,  I had aasumed that  I would work at retirement age,but  

we are now in an era of the collapse of the lifetime employment system.And Now is the time for major career changes.

I wanted to acquire some skilld,so I decided to study English!

I'm planning to wrote a diary in Japanese,and translate the Japanese diary into English.

 This diary is a part of self-study.

If there are incorrect expressions,it would be helpful if you point them out!

Do my best！
